MK3 airbag warning light

Hi all, any suggestions as to why my airbag/pretensioner warning light started intermitting flashing today about half way into a 20 mile journey.

When i stopped i turned off the car, key out, and restarted it....no return of light for 4 to 5 mins. Later on this evening on return home, no sign of the light again.

Any idea's please or just forget? ( MOT being done at end of month)

Aside from something you put on the seat, the next thing to check is a poor connection in the plug under the seat. Most cars have had water in them by now causing mild corrosion to the pins.

Thanks will have a look, and make sure I keep "stuff" off the seat in future.
