I tried several, but the BBC in particular seems very good at picking them out.

So I got Freesat in the end.

We've been using StreamVPN (which was UK Expat VPN ) for just over a year, allows us to stream BBC, ITV C4 and C5 with no worries.

What issues are you having as I was watching BBC player via it until about 10 mins ago.....

Big dish and Freesat, get almost everything BBC, ITV, C4 etc, more than enough choice and no hassle!

I use the VPN packaged into Norton 360 Antivirus, as I don't watch UK very often, although it occasionally gets blocked by the BBC.

Effectively free, as I buy the antivirus product - though it is impressive to see the (nearly 300% last time I checked) difference between the price of the Norton autorenew option and simply buying a new subscription each year through Amazon.

I put a 1.2 M dish in when Sky messed around with the satellites a few years ago .Freesat was OK till just over a year ago when I lost Drama etc.so I got a Firestick and a VPN .About two months ago Drama etc started working on Freesat again !! But I thought it would be a goog idea to have belt and braces .

I'm using UK Expat VPN to get most things on the firestick, but BBC has never worked with it. Someone over here mentioned LDSTV to me, also on the firestick. I'll be installing/attempting to use it this week, I'll let you know how I get on.

Is anyone successfully using ExpressVPN in France on Firestick, Chromecast or Android? For services like Sky Go, iPlayer and ITVx

I did 18 months ago & in Spain in October.

No problems with BBC & sky (now tv), didn't try itv/ch4.

BT sport would not work unless I tethered the fire stick to my phone for internet.

I noticed (BBC in particular) that in addition to a VPN I had to change my device time to UK time (from European).
