anyone know who makes 275 35 17 tyres?

im after a set of 4 if i can find some.

2 for rear and 2 for spares.

have found a few manufacturers say they still make it but none have the min stock and wont say when they will get anny in stock.

i currently have 315 35 17 on the rear but the sidewall is too tall for the car im building and dosen't look right.

The answer to your original question is nobody by the way, at least when looking on tyresguru, camskill or tyre leader.

if they are too tall going to 275s will be VERY narrow on the same wheels.

You also need a similar overall size to avoid ABS issues.

Perhaps give us the wheel size first and we then have something to work with?

A quick google without knowing your wheel size suggests 295/35/17 is about your only alternative without going to 18" wheels and without having the tyre way narrower than the wheel (assuming th original wheel size is perhaps 12") and this would only reduce the sidewall height by about 7mm.

The closest numbers to that size I can find are 275/40/17, are you sure about the size?

What car are the wheels off?

i have a pair of 275 40 17s and there the same overall height of the 315s so there too tall as well hence the 275 35s.

wheels are bmw banded steels

10x17 and 9x17

For 10" "https://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/tyre-equivalence-advice.html" suggests 265/275 are ideal but 255 minimum, however I can only find 40's in those sizes, but they have the same sidewall height again.

No idea.
