Firstly PH goes down :yikes:

Secondly, I decide to go out and try and fit some of my new go faster goodies to the car (well, a boost guage). Managed to fail miserably, shear 2 bolts and break a T-piece :curse: :censored: :furious: (mind you, the bolts are courtesy of a garage I used a long time ago who obviously overtightened them when refitting the dash).

Thirdly, my bloody bank. Sent me (finally) a chip & pin card via secure courier. Rang courier to rearrange delivery - a nice window of 8-6 on Thursday. Unacceptable, I tell her (nice Indian lady in, I assume, India). She says "have it delivered to work". I work freelance, not an option, neither is taking a day off work and sitting at home twiddling my thumbs. Her next suggestion is to give my passport / driving licence to a neighbour and have them sign for it! Yes, that's really secure. Told her to send the card back to Barclays or cut it up.

Emailed Barclays telling them to post it to me (like my other bank have) or arrange a time when I can collect it from my local branch. We'll see what they say. If they can't cope with it, then that's it, I will be closing my account with the bunch of useless cretins.

So, to sum up, today I have broken my car, got very angry and frustrated, and achieved nothing. :(

Anybody fitted a boost guage to a Saab 900?

I'm also having a crap day.

Arrived at work at 8.30am.

Still here at 8pm.

And I only had 10 minutes to grab an egg butty at lunchtime.

And I work in Wigan.

Can I add to that stressed, hot, sweaty, tired and being treated like a slave

Top of that the other half has just come out of the kitchen and left the door open while the washing machine is on so I have just had to get up and shut it.

I'm tired, I got up at three this morning to take mrs S' parents to the airport, then went to work @ 7 because I was bored, then at 10:30 discovered I needed to go out to a customer site to fix a problem..

It is now 22:20 and I am very very tired..

Anyone wish to provide odds on the chances of me actually being able to get to sleep???

Would they be the two bolts which hold the lower dash panel in place at each end? They always shear

Best bet is to lift the drivers side speaker cover and T into the feed for the dash gauge.

I'm spending a second day stuck in the house waiting for a liar of a delivery driver!

Apparently I wasn't in the house yesterday at 15.57 when he knocked on my door. Strange I was sitting 10ft from the front door with my window wide open to make sure I heard his arrival.

Apparently he was going to head back to me at 16:20 but at 17:20 had finished his shift and had dropped the parcel off at the depot, which they couldn't find.

Now today I'm having to sit 10ft from the front door waiting for him to arrive again. Chances are I'll not be in again

Bloody company are going to get an irate letter from me!

No, two of the long unequal length bolts that hold the instrument panel to the dash itself - looks like they've been overtightened. Worked out how to hook in the guage, it's the logistics - think I'll have to drill the base of the A-pillar as I can't get the vacuum hose behind the dash Does that sound right?

PS-have just sourced a 25-pin APC, if it's still OK could you PM your address so I can send it to you for the FP treatment?

he came today, but delivered the wrong thing (not his fault, wrong thing in package).

Sigh.

After getting passed from pillar to post by Barclays on the phone (and an initial email enquiry telling me to email another address which then came back to tell me I acn't do anything via email!), got through to somebody who said they'd post it out. There, wasn't hard was it!?

Got a replacement T-piece for boost guage, and found somebody scrapping their c900 so I can get a set of those bolts as well

So, things are looking up
