The black plastic polyurethane (?) tubing feed and return lines are new to me, I’m used to the metal hardlines as found on the Chimaera.

I have a couple of crusty sections of rubber pipes to swap out and would like to check that I can use a simple jubilee or hose clamp to connect the plastic tube to the rubber section.

Pictures below of what I’m trying to describe. Thanks.

I don't see an issue, presuming there is some kind of swage or flare on the plastic to push the rubber over?

Personally I prefer this type of hose clip rather than worm drive (Jubilee) clips for small piped like fuel.

You need to make sure the metal inserts are present, which push into the semi rigid plastic hose, to retain its shape when you clamp down.

Can you please let me know what material the black ‘plastic’ tubing is? Nylon? PTFE? I haven’t see it for sale on the usual TVR part supplier websites. Thanks.

The tubing you require will be a PA12 Nylon - used for various fluid transfers including fuel - used it throughout my build.
Purchased lots from various sources , cohline do a range of different ID/OD sizes

Some pics to close this one off.

Brass insert was present and I used Cohline 2240 tubing. Nice and easy job.

Old tubing was very perished.
