By the time the equality regimes have finished with every aspect of British life, since the first molecules of primordial swamp matter brutally oppressed errant strands of scarcely developed plankton ameoba, right through to the defence of the inalienable rights of recently imported Zambian Satanists to practice infant sacrifice during school breaks, what on earth will be left?

... Could someone tell the courts the same thing? A good friend of mine, who has a good job, and a house that is paid for, has lost his 2 kids to his ex, who has a rented flat, and has a part time job, and has government financial help.
he is not a wife beater, or a bad father, etc, so why does the court seem to thing that women should automatically get dibs of kids?

Don't worry DeR, soon our council geniuses will fine men for not having t1t5 while handing out compensation payments for not having a w1lly, i.e. we'll get squat while they get paid to squat. Actually, as some men do have t1t5 and the bobbiting habit continues there could be a problem but hey, the equal opps industry won't worry over mere niceties like common sense and biology. Much as I love my gadgets, I'm now seriously regretting my youthful fascination with technology and subsequent easy career.
If only I had become a lawyer. Seriously. It's brutally clear that theirs is the only profession that will continue to profit as the country is relentlessly thrown to the dogs.
After all, it's not as if the UK does revolutions, really, is it?

If I joined a company then found women were paid more I could ask for a rise but at the end of the day its there company and they can pay their workers what they like ie one guy getting paid more than another, perhaps one had better negotiations skills at the interview stage.
I know of a situation where two guys were earning the same money, one got a new job but was offered more money to stay so he took the money and stayed, should the other guy also get a raise????

true. Ponder this: We issue an employment test, no race is listed on the applicants, the best score gets the position...sounds good? Forget about that. We DO have to list the race, because the black guy gets to have his score "adjusted". Therefore, a lower score, and he still gets in. Reversed discrimination. How about doing it like my first example....truly colorblind?????

But isnt that racist against other races.
ie you get a black person (you words) a Chinese person an Indian person and french person all going for the same job, who gets an adjustment or are there levels
