We’re all set for tomorrow’s inevitable pain in the arse. About 50 of us will be trying, and if it’s anything like previous years there’ll be a 10% success rate .. or put another way, 1 person out of the 50 will actually get to the payment page and get 6 tickets.

Good luck if you’re trying thumbup

I usually get in on a performer ticket so I’m alright Jack

Anyone get tickets, 6 of us trying, one of us got to the payment page and it timed out, looking at Twitter it appears this was a common issue.

Oh well roll on the re-sale in April!

I was still in the queue until 10:17, long after the news channels were reporting sold out. Looks like they had some tech problems earlier on. Ggrrrrrr.

I had no luck, myself and the gf tried, always stuck on the waiting page. All my friends and family managed to get tickets though. One group managed way after the official sold out announcement, It was their first year trying as well.

I seem to be the only one that failed this year. The FOMO will be real frown

Yep after we gave up when the official sold out announcement came out, I buggered off upstairs for a shower, came down to the wife stating she'd read on FB about others being successful, a link was posted which was the official holding page, yet going through SeeTickets it came up as sold out, many got tickets after the official sold out announcement, someone on FB got tickets at 10:36.

Seems there were many IT issues.

Line up here..................

Highlights for me were Gong and Melanie - when Melanie came on the roadies were pouring oil onto the sides of the Pyramid to stop people climbing up the hardboard and plastic sheets to get at her eek

The usual carnage - or worse

Seetickets announced sold out at 10.01 but many people continued trying and were successful securing tickets up to 30 minutes later!

We got sorted by someone in another group that we teamed up with that I've never met - in just 5 minutes! God knows how he entered the details for 11 people in 2 orders so quick.

I'm cockahoop - and emotional. Tears for a fallen friend who won't be at my side this time. I'm taking his ashes.

It was a st show, I know it's bad and one would expect it to be due to the massive volume of people trying to get tickets but it seemed far worse this year and this is the first time I'd heard of people getting tickets after they had officially sold out.

Before it was officially announced that it was sold out, the Glastonbury See Tickets page sometimes showed up as it being sold out, then it wouldn't, this was due to the large amount of people having got through to place their ticket orders, being held for ages after adding the registration details, proceeding to payment (as we got to) then it timing out, thus the tickets were held for that time then released back when timing out.

Group of 18 of us, tried for tickets (3 groups of 6 each obv).

One of the people in my group of 6 was successful for us at 0955. And then the same person managed to get tickets for another one of the groups at 10:22!

We'll be trying to get tickets for the unlucky group of 6 in the resale.

I now know 3 groups of 6 that secured tickets. Quite a few first timers as well...Makes it even more depressing missing out.

I did get one on Thursday, but via my mate getting to the payment page.

I didn't even get a sniff of the page to enter registration details either Thursday or yesterday when trying for some other people in our group in the general sale.

I'm really pleased that I'm going again but it's really unfortunate on those who don't have a massive group of volunteers able to assist.

There has to be a fairer way (a ballot, as many people favour), but I suspect the Eavis's aren't really interested as their current model gives them a sold out festival in minutes. Other festivals must look on enviously!

Don't fancy a ballot system much myself and doubt many would if they thought it through.
