F1 Vegas ticket prices for 2023
Discussion
First batch of ticket prices have been announced. It's not aimed at the casual fan is it!
$500 for a general access standing only ticket
$2000 for a grandstand ticket
That's for the 3 days, no single day ticket available
A quick search for hotels in the area is over $1000 per night and many are showing sold out, probably reserved for packages.
I considered going as whilst I expect the race to be the usual street affair, I was interested in the "show" but at those prices, no chance.

Was genuinely thinking about going to this one, but, as I half expected might be the case, it’s going to be totally unaffordable. The hotels have been carefully courted, and they’ll want to make top dollar.
F1 has learned its lesson from Miami, where all the tickets disappeared immediately, only to end up on secondary markets massively marked up. The promotor might as well take the touts’ cash for themselves.

I was hoping to go, but can't find any of my mates who havent suddenly developed deep pockets and short arms! It was never going to be cheap, but GA at Silverstone for all 3 days is similar money.
I haven't got round to looking at hotels yet, but have you checked out any that are a couple of blocks out? Rio, Trump etc?

It's crazy when the WEC just posted the ticket prices for Spa next year 3 days at 55 euros
Cheers for heads up , Going again and next year the Monday after (1st May) is a Bank Holiday here in the UK so making a long weekend away , Ticket valid from 27/04/2023 till 29/04/2023.
Access to : tribunes, paddock, fan area (free activities), pit walk (access to pit walk subject to safety measures)
Prices:
€ 55,00 in Early Bird until 31 December 2022
€ 65,00 from January 1st 8am
€ 30,00 from January 1st for students 12 > 16
Free entry for those under 12 years!
My wife and I have 4 days access, grandstand seats about 10 rows up from the finish line, with 5 nights accommodation (Flexotel) at the Le Mans circuit this year car parking included.
All in for both of us including shuttle transfers 10 days after departure, were off touring southern France for 5 days after the race ends.
Total cost £2100 for both of us. We did the same last year and it was fantastic. This includes free entry to the Le Mans museum, free entry to the paddock the evening before the race, walk/ride the whole circuit.
Now tell me that’s not great value for money.
Better still we get to cruise down to LeMans in this (hopefully with the roof down as we did this year in 30°C plus temperatures.

Or the Daytona 24 hours at $75 including garage accessMark-C said:
Did Sebring for the 12 hours years ago and it was $40 for tickets ... think it's about $100 now. If you want a motor racing trip to the States either of Daytona and Sebring is worth a trip
I'd love to do the Daytona 500 at some point, may have to tie it into a Disney trip for the kids Mark-C said:

Thanks, a few people have mentioned Sebring to me. Daytona is already booked now, seems like a bargain compared to F1!LukeBrown66 said:
Actually bordering on inhumane really.
But as I know, I am clearly wrong and a spoilsport!
You’re not wrong, you just don’t seem to appreciate that attending blue riband sports events now costs a lot of money. But as I know, I am clearly wrong and a spoilsport!
As an example, if you want a Champions League final ticket, if you’re not in the UEFA VIP list or one of the fortunate few who can get a ticket from a club playing in the final, you’ll pay about £2k from one of the legitimate resellers.
Back in 2012, I turned down two tickets for what became Super Saturday at the Olympics, at the time my wife and I couldn’t justify the £1500 asking price. To be fair they were premium seats and that was the original selling price at the time of sale back in 2010/11.
The point is live blue riband sports events are expensive. Irrespective of what they used to cost, times have changed.

I know which event I’d prefer and it isn’t in Vegas.Would be massively cheaper to go to Spa WEC than any F1 race though.......may have to give that some thinking time.
Are WEc fans the formula 1 communities vegans? Always banging on about some toss no-one else cares, or wants to know about.
I thought GA was like 140 this year. 300 odd got you in a grandstand. This was before the cynical 2023 ticket sales fiasco made its ugly entrance.
