Discussion
I have a small industrial unit I have just taken over from previous occupier, with an office and storage, no more than 1 person in the office Monday to Friday for 4-5 hours, no gas usage to speak of.
We have inherited the supplier and currently pay for electric:
£2 per day standing charge
£0.79 per kwh
I have been quoted:
£0.40 per day standing charge
£0.44 per kWh including a government discount
How does this quote compare to what you are paying out there?

That's bloody cheap! Who's that with? Cheapest I got quoted was 60p standing charge and 66p per Kwh, but they wanted the years supply paid upfront.£0.40 per day standing charge
£0.44 per kWh including a government discount
