Ford specialist - EcoBoost cambelt change
Discussion
I own a 2013 Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost Zetec which has done 50,000 miles.
I'm looking for a Ford specialist in Scotland to change the cambelt but struggling to find a garage that will take on the job.
I live in Fife and local Ford dealer has quoted me £1400 to do the job.
Is anyone aware of a Ford specialist in Scotland that have experience with these engines?

Don't think he's a Ford specialist, but Scott at S&B Motorsport is a good mechanic and a decent guy. Might be worth a call?

We haven't done one yet but no doubt it will come, the odd few that we have been asked about we have turned away. I've seen some people say its easier to pull the engine out. Book time is around 9 hours and lots of bits need to come off, parts from Ford are around £250 off the top of my head. Given its a 10 year interval there are going to be a lot of them that are going to need to be changed
