Accord 1.8 - tweakable?

Picked up a nice CH6 Accord 1.8 6th Gen, stock bhp says 136, goes very well, non standard cat that I feel is making it breathe a bit better.
Has a small flat spot around 2.5k which I feel is a lack of back pressure from the iffy cat, goes like a stabbed rat in VTEC but I was wondering if there was anything that can be done to tune it for a bit more grunt retaining the F18B2 it has
