My missus signed up yesterday. She then posted a hello thread and got the usual response from the boys before the thread suddenly disappeared. Mind you, she was accused of bing Vixpy1 at one point so it's probably a good job...
So whats the safest way for a woman to do a 'Hello from new member' thread?

Sign up with nothing along the lines of -babe, -girl, -sex kitten in the title.
Avoid mentioning hair colour and breast size.
Talk about cars only for first 50 posts.
Ignore any encouragement of debauchery from Vixpy1!!!
And she'll be fine...
- ooh and posting a pic of oneself when one is attractive is just asking for trouble!!!

There should be a separate forum called "newbies" or "rookies"
Where females / males / anyone who is new can say 'Hello'
I don't think the title of her thread helped much jimothy also don't think Ted enjoys looking at all the attention & smutty replies women get in the P&P compared to what a 'hi im new" thread started by a guy receives..

I think I just 'appeared' as well. Often easier to slip into the back of the lions den than jump in the centre with juicy steaks shouting 'are you hungry, boys?!'.

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure that there's some sort encouragement from Ted to introduce yourself when you sign up (via automated e-mail or something).
