What a badly thought out poorly implemented unfair crock of crap this is.

Under 50 staff exempt - not on Amazon

Everyone stopped advertising? No, only the honest ones.

We have one of our clients caught up in this. (We are an Amazon consultancy)

So far seller support have insisted that we provide the information for the scores regardless. Even though the items are not in scope!

Our clients are working this out and we will end up having to provide this information I expect.

Standard amazon enforcement in my experience. E.g. their system is not functioning correctly (marking as not in scope should remove the need for any other details)

I sell chocolate biscuits on Amazon and we’ve been affected - every one of our ads has paused. We are classed as HFSS and updated our listings last week, and are being punished. The rule doesn’t come into play for digital sales until next year! I think a way around it is selling direct rather than FBA, but I need to look into it further

Sorry yes it’s the blanket ban on Amazon advertising for high sugar n fat.

Been on chimes since Friday as many of our competitors are still showing adverts but less so today.

Once all the adverts are eventually pulled it’s down to organic reach.

Note you can still sponsor brand adverts just not specific products.
