Tracked 1PM Next Day Delivery Service
Discussion
How is it possible for the about to strike postal service to collect & scan a package, then nothing?
After 20 mins on the phone, I was told "we can't tell you anything & we won't class it as lost for 10 days".
WTAF?
I've waited 8 weeks for these components to arrive & 2 days later, they're lost.

ok, where was it collected from or did you take it to a post office?
Collected from a residential address. That's the last item on the tracking log.
Would usually drop at a Post Office but both local ones are closed/reduced hours.
Not much help I know but hope it explains whats likely to have happened.
You should be able to claim something as it should be delivered next day.

OK, thats likely at the collecting delivering office and not been put out for collections staff to go to the pipeline mail system. It will probably end up in the main mail system until a human picks up ots a specialy delivery item . Currently due to Royal mail strikes they are at breaking point with mail so it will be there somewhere just hold tight.

Was going to try to catch the postman in the morning to ask if there's anything he could do.
I'm not really interested in claiming anything as long it's delivered soon, such that I don't have to order more stuff. If it's not there by the weekend, I'm in trouble.
