I've had so much of my stuff reproduced on these cr@p 'Novelty Notes' it's unbelievable. We get notified regularly that we're being ripped off, and we simply report them to eBay's Verified Rights Owner Programme who pull the auction
I gather the basic image of the note can be obtained by any Tom, Dick or Harry who then adds whatever they think is saleable. If you do a search on ebay for 'novelty notes' it looks like there's an epidemic of them. There is everything from my little pony to Peugeot 106s. I don't know why anyone would buy one.
On the issue of copyright, they certainly cannot claim copyright because all the material is nicked from someone else.

This knob is commiting an offence under section 18(1) of the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981. As well as considerable assault to the English language.
