Plane spotting at Heathrow help
Discussion
Dear all
My relatives want to see some plane landings at Heathrow tomorrow. Their flight is at 12 pm. So i can spare 1 hour at Myrtle Avenue. Hope that's a good spot for sometime.
I wish to show them the biggest planes in the sky but i could find only one A380 landing at 7am.
Could anyone help me find the biggest planes, freight or passenger which lands before 10 am tomorrow.
Thank you

Check out the forecast wind direction, they are currently on easterlies so you may be at the wrong end for landings...

You can find the scheduled arrivals here (as I imagine you've already done): https://www.heathrow.com/arrivals It doesn't show freight arrivals though.
Emirates and possibly Qatar are the best bets for non BA A380 arrivals
BA A380 arrivals could be (I don't know how up to date the info is):
Boston BA212
Chicago O’Hare BA294
Dallas / Fort Worth BA192
Johannesburg BA56
Miami BA208
San Francisco BA286
Vancouver BA84
Washington Dulles BA292
Otherwise, far eastern or North American arrivals could mostly be 777s, 787s, A350s, with the odd A330 and 767 thrown in.
Forecast wind for tomorrow looks to be from the north-ish, so landing direction is a toss up at the moment.

Or the Premier Inn at the other end of the northern runway. Both will charge for parking though.

Good morning, we are currently on westerly operations, landing on both the northern 27R and southern 27L runways and taking off from the northern runway 27R. From 07:00 we will be landing on the southern runway 27L and taking off from the northern runway 27R.
So where to go?
For 09L, I go here and sit on the gate. I am usually on a bike, but there is a small layby just around the corner in Bath Road.
