Austrian GP 2023
Discussion
We're planning our first GP trip as a family,(myself, wife & 2 boys 10 & 12), looking at the 2023 dates the Austrian GP seems the best choice for us. After last year's Abu Dhabi fiasco, my 10 year old detests Red Bull & Verstapen so we're keen not to be in a grandstand amongst a boozed up orange army of Verstappen fans!
If anyone can share recent experience of the Austrian GP it would be appreciated as even purchasing tickets seems to be a minefield, we're not looking to skimp on the tickets but need a sensible balance between value for money and enjoying the race. What's best, a packaged deal or simply buying the weekend tickets and sorting out everything else independently? Any ticketing websites that need to be avoided? Thanks.

I went a few years ago.
You have no hope of not being amongst a sea of Max Verstappen fans. It is RedBull’s home race and will be a sea of orange. It was fine when we went though.
We took General Admission tickets.
There is a large banked grass area for GA.
Best spot for action is somewhere overlooking turn 3 or turn 4.
Otherwise, in front of one of the big screens.
In GA:
There is no shade, take a parasol or 2.
There are no seats, take fold out camping ones.
We purchased the above from Aldi in Austria or somewhere similar relatively cheaply if flying.
Take water etc in a cooler.
We stayed in Graz and drove to the circuit daily (1hr).
Parking was plentiful and well organised - but a 30 min walk to then get to GA.
Plenty of people camping at near the circuit.
Not sure on prices now but we paid <€100 for our weekend GA tickets.
Atmosphere was nice, I’d have no hesitation to take my kids.
