Please let us not lose site of the absolute tragedy of a 3 year old going missing and unfortunately more than likely no longer alive.
I have a friend who’s daughter died of a rare cancer 22 years ago when she was 12.
He hasn’t got over it, there is still that sadness in his eyes that burns down to his soul.
The McCanns will feel the same. Unless I see evidence to the contrary I believe them. They will already be living with enough guilt due to leaving her alone.
I am confident the truth will out someday.

We will never know but....Ben Needham he went missing and was it not a death bed confession of someone who knew the killer (accident) and so remains or such like were found which confirmed that Ben was sadly dead that day. My guess is se for maddie an the truth comes out post the perpetrators death.
