European races in 2023, on a budget
Discussion
Nurburgring or Spa 24 hours are worth a look, definitely more of an event that F1. Most European F1 races will be less than 24 hours on a coach there but you’ll be in crap accommodation to keep the cost down, you may be able to camp but that’s unlikely as it’s not how they make their money. You’ll also likely get 3 day tickets packages only so no chance to explore the surrounding areas.
events wise 100th year of LE Mans, if you can do it, it will be huge.
But yes Spa 24, Nurb 24, and maybe Monza GTWC for the Rossi effect?
I would like to do Spa WEC next year if possible.
And then on a real budget if you cant do N24 the NLS 12h has a lot of the big teams and is still hardcore, without the massive crowds, but that event is almost not about racing.
f1 wise I would not have a clue, I think Hungary is the cheapest, or if you want closer maybe Spa, but even then I think tickets are going to rocket.

If I was running RedBull I’d be tempted to stick Max in the Alpha Tauri team once he wraps up the championship for RedBull which will happen very soon.
Would give them a huge spike in points and could also get a good benchmark for the other drivers this would help them decide who to keep for next year in the junior team.

Good to know, and agree it would be a good giggle to see Max stick it on the podium.Would give them a huge spike in points and could also get a good benchmark for the other drivers this would help them decide who to keep for next year in the junior team.
No idea what relevance this has to the topic though
