Not 100% sure of the exact time, but I know members had until 10am today, so I presume they will go live from 10am this morning.

https://www.silverstone.co.uk/events/formula-1-bri...

Might be worth making an account now in advanced to make checkout quicker.

Anyone got any insight as to what time Public tickets go live? Presumed it would be 10am but still says Members Only...

you should have to queue up somewhere like the hammersmith odeon. More chance of getting tickets.

I can't get tickets either, already had to changed planned Grandstand as the ticket has gone up £200, so some people must be successful. Been trying since 11:30 when they went live.

Same I have been trying since the buy now button flashed up.

Got in the queue then got a technical error. Eventually it chucked me out so had to re-join. What a nightmare...

Finally managed to get 4 from using Chrome on iPhone. Had to use PayPal as well to check out and pay direct from bank as both my cards got blocked for dodgy spending!

Checking on Twitter it seems like not many people are able to buy tickets

Lots of reports of payments failing but the money showing as pending in peoples bank accounts, pretty nerve racking given the costs!

Not a good show on Silverstones part…

I got all the way to the basket and then the payment wouldn't go through! Then I got kicked off for taking too long. Checked with my bank and there was no attempt to get the payment so the website payment system is just not working. Pathetic.

I'm in the waiting room but that red bar is awfully long and moving very slowly!

Always the case though isn't it. I've seen events sell out and then people say "the system is a farce, it just collapsed". Well, clearly not if they sold all the tickets.

I've heard mentions of various stands selling out, so people are getting through, but they tend not to then go on social media to talk about it.

But it's ok, they reinvest the money so that makes it alright.

I'd suggest investing your own money in visiting one of the European races instead. You will have fun and some change in your pocket.

It's hilarious there's another thread complaining about price of Silverstone tickets. Plainly they could have added another £100 a ticket and still sold out!

I understand the frustration of not actually being able to buy a ticket due to the crush of course... But it must be bloody difficult to get the platform live and able to handle such a huge influx of transactions.

Update:

We’ve decided to suspend the 2023 Formula 1 British Grand Prix ticket sale, as we’re acutely aware a lot of fans have experienced intermittent issues in securing their tickets.

Due to ongoing issues with our ticketing provider, Secutix, we feel the fairest thing for us to do is to temporarily pause sales and freeze all ticket prices until these are resolved.

We plan to be back on sale at 1130am tomorrow and reassure you we still have good availability across all ticket types. Please watch our social channels and keep an eye on your emails for our most up to date timings.

Once again, we sincerely apologise for the frustrating experience that many of you have had today and thank you for your support throughout this time.
