Trouble Getting Wood

Thinking of having a authentic BBQ this weekend for a group of friends.

I was wondering if any PH'ers know where it is possible to buy pre cut firewood in the London area ?

My old Dad used to amongst other things be a Timber merchant. I consider myself a bit of a dab hand at obtaining wood and keeping it in usable condition for extended periods.

Im sure I have some old pellets here somewhre that could be of use.

Really looking to pick up some hard wood this weekend. I believe that it will keep the old fire burning for a far longer period.

We're having lamb, steak and perhaps if we feel daring we might try roasting our chestnuts.

Remember, you don't have to look at the mantlepiece whilst poking the fire.

Yep but if the mantlepiece has been seen before poking, no matter what is cooking it may seem unappetising
