Hello All smile

I'm back in Yorkshire again, same place as last year - Already sorted out the good roads with my thread then, so looking for something else to fill the days and justify the driving.

Any good museums to visit, car shows / meets or similar going on this week? All ideas welcomed smile

You could try The Motorist one day, they do a few free events through the week.

There is also NY500 near Pickering,

https://ny500.co.uk/

And someone else mentioned Motorist which is in Sherburn.

They do Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday car meets, a gin night on a Friday, and bikes on a Thursday.

This week, Saturday is supercars, Sunday is coffee and cars expect 300/400 attendees if it’s sunny, get there 10am.

Cheers all, I think I'll pop along to the Wednesday event at Motorist tomorrow.

Unfortunately on my return prior to the weekend, so NY500 may be next on the list I'd expect!

Im on holiday this week in York. Saturday is our last full day. This sounds like a perfect day trip out.

The white Horse at Kilburn has had a re-paint & looks nice & fresh. The weather looks clear so a trip there will give your legs a work out & you`ll see a huge swathe of Yorks from the top. It's fun watching the gliders whizz over as well!
The Fauconberg at Coxwold will do you some slap up nosh !
