Bought one from John Lewis last year and it does the job well, seems some people find it firm however I got used to it and find it very comfy.
On the pricey side, https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-natural-colle...

Best pillow I slept on was in a hotel and it was that comfy I made sure I got the name, made by muehldorfer and was a down and feather, not sure if you can find them in the UK

I have the same one only the firm version. Good pillow which has retained its shape after about 4-5 years and washes well.

Ditto for me too. Excellent pillow.

I bought one of these for my wife and she really likes it:

I have her old one - which is similar to the new one although slightly slimmer - and find it works really well for me. It has allowed the stiff neck that I had to disappear which is very helpful when driving and looking over my shoulder.

Try a foam one? I went to John Lewis and chose a foam one years ago - very supportive, not as hot as a feather pillow which forms around you (IMHO). I recall it was £60+.

Best to see them in the flesh I think, and JL/PJs have a good selection of good quality pillows.

I’ve been informed that they’re not too keen on you either.

Still looking...nothing seems to work with me. I currently have a firm memory foam with a softer pillow on top. Some nights I will sleep like a baby, others I'm fighting the pillows at silly o'clock.

Tempur for me, the name escapes me but a nice firm chunky pillow.

I'm very fussy about my pillow, even to the extent that I can't sleep on anything but my own pillow, so when we got to hotels...

I also have back problems.

I bought this pillow on a whim, after looking at pillows costing upwards of £60.

It took a little longer than usual to reach it's full size (it arrived vacuum packed) but I find it very cool and comfy.

In addition, I bought one of these which I have found to help a lot with my back issues.

It too remains cool.

I have knee problems and need something between them when I sleep, I tried something similar to that ^^ but when turning over it slipped out of position, I now use a 6ft bolster pillow positioned along the length of my body which I can put a 'leg ove'r as I lay on my side, really helps.

And ditto. It seemed a little too plump to begin with but has settled down, and can be squidged into any desired shape smile

Never tried washing it but use an under-pillowcase, if that's the right word.

We’ve got these pillows and when they were new I found them excellent, still pretty good after 4 years.

I still find myself fighting pillows at 3am occasionally but I suspect that’s just a busy mind rather tuan my pillow.

Incidentally, when we moved away from using memory foam mattresses to a pocket sprung mattress, my upper back and neck issues disappeared within a matter of days.

I used to suffer recurring neck issues. I've been sleeping on one of these since late 2019 and haven't woken up with a sore neck since.

While its memory foam I don't find it hot at all.

Panda pillows for me. Took a couple of nights to get used to them but anything else just feels awful now. 30 night trial so if you don't like them, send them back. 10 year warranty too.

Agreed, even bought the missus one for Christmas as she kept trying to hoist mine. Proper romantic me tongue out
