Hi there - I’m looking at the configurator for the base 911 and:

1. I can’t see stone guards for the wings, do I have to do aftermarket?
2. I dislike piano black due to bad experiences with scratches, and I can’t seem to see a way to remove it entirely from the centre console, just the part around the bottom. Am I missing something?

Cheers
Mark

Re Point 2
No, there is no way to change the entirety of the centre console black plastic to something else.

Perhaps a PPF or wrapping company could cover the piano black areas to a finish you prefer?

Re 1. Do you mean the shark fin shapes that were on 80s Porsches, and that a few cars have today?

If so, the cars come with a clear shark fin as standard. Not sure how the cars with black versions get them. I assume it's an after market thing.

The stone guards are body coloured. You easily add a decal in black if you like. Here’s an example:

That’s the one!
Also a good shout re: internal ppf - I am happy with the black in principle, it’s just the last few cars we have had with it, it’s been scratched badly quickly....

No problem. I’ve put the black Porsche stripe on mine. It looks identical to the factory fitted one.
