Has anyone considered setting up a non-profit-making TVR car share club. A small membership (in a reasonably close proximity to each other) each member paying an annual subscription and a monthly fee. The club has a fleet of cars from early to current models that would be shared on a monthly basis.

I have no idea if such an idea is viable, finance is really not my thing. The fees would have to cover servicing the fleet and perhaps go towards owning a share in the club’s assets. I’ve no idea how insurance would work, but I wonder - if it were non-profit making - if there is any merit in a scheme like this?

Tangent Performance tried it (although a profit making version). I think they diversified into other areas though so I'm guessing it's a tough scheme to make work.
