Recently bought a 20yr old Mercedes CLK240 and have bought a spare set of wheels for fitting winter tyres, intend to swap them over each spring/winter.

Was thinking of having a four wheel alignment but is that specific to the wheels that are on at the time, so would swapping the wheels a few months later mean the alignment would need doing again?

Agree with the previous poster.

Speaking from experience (having owned multiple W124's), if you haven't done so already suggest you physically fit one of the new spare set onto a front hub and make sure all is well re brake calipers and suspension struts before you splash out on the tyres, wouldn't be the first time offsets didn't pan out as expected, its almsot always the front if there's going to be any issues.

Thanks, will do, I did test fit one onto the rear yesterday so I will try one on the front too.
