Starting Sat 13 August until October, there will be a 4 mile stretch of roadworks with a 50mph limit.
However the speed cameras are not the normal type. They measure your average speed between the cameras so you can't slow down and then speed up afterwards.
Careful out there.

I noticed those camera's go up since it's my normal route to work every day (coastbound - no traffic)!

Are they def going in October? I was seriously beginning to look for a new job cos I don't think I could cope going so slowly along such a lovely, fast bit of road!

According to Radio Kent (don't ask!!), the roadworks will go on until October when the cameras will be taken down.
I'm going to use Bluebell Hill and the M2. I could not go down Wrotham Hill at 50mph - my car would simply not let me so it's the M2 for me.
