utter utter bastards 2 the return
Discussion
On our fleet of 360 challenge cars, which we race under Australian Nations Cup spec, we have designed a self scavenging system with an "x" crossover. It's a bit similar to a 355 sound with big increases in usable torque, and also more than a couple of BHP. I've got it down to 7.5kg from the manifold to exit too, but it's a bit fragile for the road at that weight!
I've fitted tubi's to road cars too, and they're great obviously, but if someone could develop a road version of a crossover system, it'd be awesome.
Please, nobody ever fit a Borla system. I've repaired/removed SO MANY due to failures of many descrptions.

Rich - read the erm "essay" here.....

Just give us a bell mate - I would say that the Tubi Silencer on the 360 by itself is enough - it just depends on how MAD (read Formula 1-esque) you want the car to sound and how much power you need.
Tubis are LITERALLY bolt-on/bolt-off - it's actually a 1 hour job on a 360 - most of the other time is spent waiting for the stock silencer to cool enough to be handled.

Nope, the challenge "x" system we make is 1mm thick inconel with a pair of race borla oval silencers. Aussie rules are 95db even for race cars.
I stress "race" borla silencers, and not road quality.
Inconel is a stainless alloy almost as tough as stainless, but much lighter.
Our systems crack frequently and only last a season if you're lucky.
I'm not familiar with the other brand you mentioned, but tubi is the way to go I reckon.
I've been to the tubi factory which was an eye opener. It's not far from Michelotto who use them to build the N-GT system which is a work of art!
