Ahh okay. I just relayed what was said on ITV.Ginetta have now released the following statement:

Just got back to Bristol from Thruxton. 2 hour delay due to that horrendous accident. I saw it on the big TV but it was not replayed and the track side commentators didn’t mention it again until the end of the day. The said that two drivers were now comfortable in hospital.
It wasn’t clear to me if the Air Ambulance was involved. It seemed to be coming back wards and forwards and then doing laps of the circuit. I can only assume it did two trips or is it actually based at that airfield?
The second race in that class went a head with a new delayed rejigged running time. A long day because the Mini race was red flagged straight after. Where we would we find out the news?

From watching the Ginetta races this weekend, the standard of driving is just incredibly poor. Every lap of the second race had either a spin, a big trip off the track, or significant contact. Often multiple of those.
The commentators were audibly wincing whenever there was close racing.

To be fair, it wasn't just the Ginettas, it was all the races! Loads of spins, loads of excursions off across the grass, loads of cutting the chicane and loads of contact. There must have been something in the air this weekend.The commentators were audibly wincing whenever there was close racing.

I was thinking similar to be honest. Every category was very rough and ready, even for a BTCC weekend! I'd imagine the marshals and spectators are still coughing up dust and gravel

Even the touring cars were like that for all 3 races. Some battles looked like they weren't even trying to race at times, preferring to just keep driving into each other instead. The commentators were audibly wincing whenever there was close racing.
