John Hindhaugh and Toby Moody, I dare say neither give much of a toss about F1 but they are just brilliant commentators and are a pleasure to listen to.

Ben and Ant. Davidson clearly has current knowledge and an eye for good detail.

I would also want Whisper as the production team to get rid of the “we are all jokey mates down at the pub” approach to their broadcast. I would also want Steve, DC and Mark to anchor the show and Lee McKenzie doing the interviews. She can phrase an open question that gives the drivers something to work with.

Whisper make an entertaining program around a sporting event. SKY just work on the principle that if we have enough talking heads, nothing can go wrong. Quantity, zero quality.

Hindhaugh?

Five minutes and I'm reaching for the off switch. No doubt at all he knows his stuff, forgotten more than I'll ever know, but his strangulation of the English language and attempts at French pronunciation hurts. I don't mind his accent, I quite like a North East accent. But please, Sirqueet de la Sart and Lez Hunordiaire. You're not French mate, stop mullering their language as well as your own.

Ben, Palmer, Sam.

Perfect mix and balance for me.
Totally agreed, they work really well together, plenty of F1 knowledge and make an enjoyable listen. For the F1 enthusiast.

Makes MB and Crofty sound like two strangers stood at the bar talking/shouting F1 ‘painting-by-numbers’. Now for the Netflix viewer.

F1tv pays for itself quick, this is a good trio.

Only downside is when Ben isn't on, we have Tom Gaymor, which I would rather listen to Crofty over. Good thing that option easily exists
