Yeah, big new regulation change, some are always going to get it more right than others. Ferrari should still have been in with a shot at it if they were able to build a reliable engine, but that's how it goes.
Despite the shambles of the final race last year, can't say either Max or Lewis had an easy season of it, both of them fighting as hard as they could to the end.

So, dont watch it then, if you know as we all do what the result will be watch something else, f1 is about as predictable as any motorsport can be, yet for some reason is attended by hundreds of thousands and watched by millions.

I figured out for myself all the way back in 94 that F1 is swayed one way or another, and I was in the special classes at school.
If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. There’s plenty of other better motorsport to watch out there. You’re literally spoiled for choice.
