You can consider yourself a much better driver than him. Well done not losing your rag or doing anything stupid. Hopefully he will reflect on today's events. Wouldn't bet on it tho...

I've been involved in driver training for about seventeen years now. I remember early on someone saying tailgaters don't realise they are doing anything wrong. Well, after all these years of training/assessing a few thousand drivers, I must have been incredibly lucky because I've never sat in the passenger seat of a tailgater! Alternatively, whoever told me that all those years ago was talking bks. I'm coming to the conclusion that tailgating is a mental health issue.

Not boring IMHO.
Was imagining this on what I take to be similar roads (and tailgaters) near here.

Good observations OP. A reminder that sometimes you have to drive the car behind you as much as your own!
