anyone else get a sore neck from the elise seats?? I got a 2001 S2 2 months ago, and while the car is AMAZING!!!!!!! - the seats give me a killer sore neck after about 15 mins of driving. I think it's the headrest shoving my head too far forward!

anyone else have this problem? - any easy fixes?? I'm trying various things with padding and extra foam bits, but not quite sorted it yet!

BUMMER!

Padding adds weight to the car. Try taking a couple of pain killers before you drive

I agree, only with the exception that I don't get any discomfort while driving, (gee I wonder why), but when in the passenger seat. If the headrest was tilted back just a bit more.

My head doesn't even touch the headrest (6'3" '01 S2). Are you sitting the right way up?

When I first picked up my S2 I felt the same way, headrests not allowing my neck to be in the position i wanted. But after a few weeks of driving my spine seems to have moulded itself to fit and now no more discomfort.

Downside is however, I now need a wheelchair when i get out of the car!

never mind eh!

I got a really sore neck driving my S1 last week. It wasn't the seats but a combination of Yoko 48's and the chicane at Llandow circuit.

anyone try the corbeau 135 type seats? - hangar111 sell them for £350 - and they look a much more sensible shape.
small price to pay for a spine that works!

I guess it must just be my shape - I know at least 2 other folk that have the same problem, but others have no worries at all - odd!
