Mps vs fn2 vs Leon fr

Looking to upgrade from my fiesta zs in the next month and have found a mk1 mazda 3 mps, 2 fn2 type r's and a mk2 leon fr+ for sale nearby that are in my budget. Which of the 3 would you guys say would be the most fun to drive at weekends but also be decent on a daily 10 mile round trip to work.
Budget of £6k, would push it to £7k for the right car if you have any other suggestions on what to look at.

The 3 MPS is a good hoot and I like how rare it is to see them around me on the roads, I'd say their looks have aged well but the interior certainly hasn't.
This would absolutely be my pick of these three cars if they were readily available within your budget, unfortunately it looks like you're needing £9k+ for a decent one of these currently, with only four cars showing in your budget on AT and all being close to 100k miles. The FN2 is a little marmite in looks, nowhere near as much so as the current iteration but still. I think this car has gone the opposite way of the 3 MPS and the interior has dated really well, whilst the exterior looks a little 'meh' to me nowadays. I think this is where you get the most fun and reliability for your money. I couldn't help but be wary of cars like the below though, this has been advertised for 11months without shifting, not sure if it was originally listed with a ridiculous pricetag or not but there's gotta be a reason it isn't going.

Leon FR or FR+ in that price bracket is either a leggy, bottom of the barrel MK3 or you can get a good condition MK2 but I feel that these really just don't have that hot hatch look and are a little plain. This would be the easiest for me to rule out.
Ignoring your options, I'd probably be tempted to put my money in a Kia Proceed. I think these are often overlooked and at that pricepoint bring a style that has aged fairly well, a reliable engine and an interior that hasn't aged all that badly.

With the MPS you'd really want the Gen2 model, the FN2 is a very good car but you'd have to test drive one to see if the drivetrain suits you & finally the FR is a warm hatch that's an okay steer.Budget of £6k, would push it to £7k for the right car if you have any other suggestions on what to look at.
With your budget I'd probably go for a warm hatch as you'll get a that'll be modern & a decent steer & is the reason I'd be looking at the 1.6T 180/200 SRI/Limited Edition models.

Never been a fan of mk2 Leons and many of those any sale now are particularly unloved and nasty.
That leaves the Civic Type R. Here's a nice one

Alternatively, what about an EP3? Better looking, lighter, sweeter handling and give it a few more years and these will start going up in value as opposed to the FN2s that'll be bottoming out.

I don’t know much about the other 2 but when looking for an FN2 try and aim for a 60 plate car or later. Better still, a championship white edition or Mugen 200. The 60 plate and 2011 cars come with LSD as standard as does the Championship white & Mugen. The Mugen 200 will hold their values over time, even though they’re only cosmetically different to the Championship white edition.
