Don't forget Health Insurance

This is a reminder that if you are moving to the US, you and your family need good Health Insurance. It is not cheap but must be factored in.

My medical bills over the past 12 months have passed $1 Million. Out of pocket is probably over $20k by now and not stopping. This does not include Insurance premiums or out of Network Doctors.

Great advice. I am very familiar with this and the costs for uninsured coverage are staggering. I have a friend whose father had a stroke in Arizona. They treated hm and midivacked him back to Canada after a few weeks.

$400,000. He was insured.
