Hi, any advice please. 2001 Tuscan with factory fitted air con.
Regassed this afternoon but that wasn't the issue.
Blue light comes on when button pressed but compressor doesn't run.
Ran 12v direct power to compressor and clutch kicks in. So i presume problem is between switch and compressor.
Cannot work out which fuse is for the aircon or which relays.
I seem to remember somewhere that when aircon is turned on one of the fans is constantly on, is this correct or a figment of my imagination.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Udo

My Tuscan (2000) has the same problem. A/C-compressor works when hotwired. Switch with blue light works, but doesn't start the compressor. So I guess, the issue is the heater-ECU 😉

OP, fan not on constantly is normal, one does come on earlier though, switched by trinary switch signal. Think you have either problem with 6 pin connector at front of car, forget which side but odds on it is driver side behind head light area or the trinary switch. Try the old clean up and dose of ACF. Failing that you are sinking into Tusky electrics which is a vortex of disappointments... Who needs AC anyway, summer is over now.
