Hi Bugsy

I am hoping to make a convoy (awaiting confimation from the co pilot who is soon to be ejected if I dont get an answer:D) but if I don't I haven't been to Silverstone before... I am guessing I am not alone. Is there just one entrance and will our spot be easy to find once through the entrance?.

thanks

I think it's in the main entrance, left at the first roundabout and follow your nose. There'll probably be a clear trail of oil drops and bits-dropped-off if you turn up after me.

Absolutely right, turn left at the roundabout, instead of turning right into STVR keep going left and you will come to the coach park where we are.

If you spot any broken bits of supercharger off Green V8's car or anything interesting, give them to me and I'll raffle them

Derek,

Are you talking about here, on this dusty area (depends if it's rained heavily)

Is it likely to be signed in any way? If not, is anyone in a position to publish a map or schematic of the route from the main gate?

The stewards will direct everybody, plus I am printing off some A4 copies of the logo and will bring some posts to bang in the ground.

Is anybody else looking forward to this, I am

If it's near TVR Silverstone (RIP), there's a map on their site.

It's okay Andy, if it does rain you can use this as preparation for next years proposed event at Glastonbury.....

Needless to say I'm on the BBC weather site daily and it currently looks like rain Saturday but 20 degrees and sunny Sunday, 11mph winds from the NW

Those pics seem to show a gravelly surface? Just as a note of caution, if it is gravel we will need to be very cautious driving in and out to ensure we don't kick stones up near parked cars.
