997.1 gt3 coolant leak

I have a small leak from the waterpump area. 997.1 gt3 75.000km. I might want to change waterpump because It could leak from the pumpshaft but before I do that i might try to change the hose that connected to the bottom of the waterpump because I can see some coolant coming from the elbow.

Is this an easy fix? Can I stop the coolant from draining out and then top it up after installing new hose?
