Something's eaten my window seals!
Discussion
The windows on my boat are sealed with a bead of strong rubber-like substance. Maybe rubber, maybe sealant, not sure.
On my last visit I was astonished to see that what had been a perfectly neat bead the last time I looked had started to crumble and disappear...

The other side is perfect. The only thing I can think of is the sun, as the affected side faces south. But then again, it's only been moored that way for a year. Insects maybe? It hasn't been pressure washed (and if that was the cause, the other side would be the same). Anyway, I think I'll have to cut it all away and reseal with something. What sealant would you recommend please?
