not sure if this has been posted before-
General Motors is hatching a plan to significantly raise the profile of its flagging Chevrolet brand, with a scorching supercharged 600bhp version of the new 7.0-litre V8 Corvette Z06.
Dubbed the ‘blue devil’ by GM insiders, and caught here setting an impressive 7min 40sec lap of the Nürburgring in the hands of Corvette’s Le Mans class-winning driver Jan Magnussen, the car will be positioned to take on some of the world’s most highly-respected supercars, according to General Motors’ product guru, Bob Lutz. ‘We’re going to do something beyond the Z06, at a much higher price point, and which would compete with some of the leading high-performance cars of the world,’ Lutz told American motoring magazine AutoWeek.

Spoke to the bloke at Goodwood last week who is selling the Mosler and he was saying that the car is destined for "the Ring" with Jao Baobosa (Rollacentre Racing LMP1 driver). Reason being that Mr. B drives for Rollacentre and the Mosler is being sold by Martin Short owner of Rollacentre.....also Mr. B is rather a fast driver!
Will be interesting to see the times.
The Mosler has some very sexy 6 pot Wilwood brakes and Oz wheels

I spoke to the GM test driver who developed the suspension and brakes for the C6 Corvette at the Nurburgring, he's an ex-Belgian Rally Champion, when I was at the Corvette C6 launch at the Ascari circuit in January this year.
I asked him about the rumoured 750bhp supercharged Blue Devil engine, which had been tested in an uprated CTSv Cadillac. He just said "you have some very good information", and smiled, but wouldn't be drawn further.
I'm sure that they are running the engine closer to it's maximum spec, but will de tune slightly for production. 600bhp is a low estimate; and pricing will be around $100k, so start saving now Corvette lovers!

So, house back on the market then Nige?
Assuming they are going to make it in (fast) yellow...
I keep trying to get excited about the new C6 and the looks keep putting me off!
I am torn between so many ideas for my next car that at the moment I can't decide what to get.
Can't see myself in a C6/C6 Z06/C6 Blue Devil any time soon.
I think I would rather spend the money on a Mosler!
