Never done a reader's car thread before, but thought I would do one on this as there doesn't seem to be many of these about. Fancied a small hot hatch but didn't really want any of the usual suspects so I got a 208 GTI by Peugeot Sport. There are a couple of small dents and scratches that I'd like to get sorted and then see where I go with it.

Very nice! Is that a wrap or a factory option? Fixing scratches on that might be a pain

It's actually factory paint. I spoke to the chap who does my smart repairs before I bought it and he said it should be ok.

I've not seen any similar cars in that colour. Very unique. Perhaps it's the compressed image size that makes it look like a wrap / matt finish.

I have only seen one other with the same paint. A lot of people have asked if it is a wrap, I believe it was a relatively expensive option. I've had an r53 cooper s in the past but this is much more modern and having an lsd which the mini didn't have makes a big difference to how it drives.

Need more pictures but really like it! Peugeots recent performance offerings all seem to have flown under the radar a bit.

Great looking car OP, enjoy.

Hopefully you're like me and the right proportions for the 'cockpit' to be at the right angle so you can see the dash. I think some of the taller or shorter drivers find they're either sat on top of the car to see the dash or sat too low and can't see it through the wheel.

Be interested to know how noisy (in a good way) these are inside when driving.

I like to have seat low, so can see the top two thirds of the dash. Can't see the markings for 20 mph and below. It actually makes quite a decent noise. It took me five and half hours of motorway driving to get home after collecting it. I've heard people mentioning about it droning on the motorway but I didn't notice anything. Quite comfortable as well, drove all way without stopping and no aches or pains.

Had one from new for 3 1/2 years, with the extra bits over the standard GTI made it a fun car to drive.

No, did a part-ex for a brand new GR Yaris last August.

Probably quite easily; just looks out of his window and it’s there on his drive?

Edit: god that’s an awful joke getmecoat

It does need a clean though, so just sitting there reminding me!

It does pack a punch for sure, and a hoot to drive if the conditions are right. Not that I am using it's full potential!

Not that the Pug BPS is a slouch. I had a standard 208 Gti before getting the BPS and there was real a difference in its handling with the LSD, wider track etc.

Great car, I quite fancied one of these (has to the the Peugeot Sport) but sadly my budget wouldn't stretch and I have a Swift Sport instead.

Had a run down to Browns Garage in Haywards Heath this morning. 1st time out on some A and B roads, a bit of torque steer, but the LSD works really well. Quite impressed to be quite honest. Anyway a few photos of the morning.
