Hi all

I'm trying to help my neighbour out, who has a catering van. Over time where it has been sat and wheels removed, they have lost a lot of the wheel bolts to get the wheels back on.

I have an original wheel bolt to use as reference, but struggling to find somewhere near me who I can go to, show them the original wheel bolt, in order to get some replacements.

My neighbour did go into ECP and they sold her bolts where the shaft was a good 3mm wider and said "it will be fine they have wiggle room". Needless to say, it wasn't fine.

Can anyone think of somewhere in Berkshire (I'm in Windsor, near Slough) that I can head into and see if they can help?

Thanks

Aaron

Pretty much any tyre/wheel place should have hundreds of common ones.

Why not go to the main dealer of whatever brand of van it is. I had a problem with the locking wheel nuts on my Clubman and went to the main dealer to borrow their security set to remove them. I bought a set of wheel bolts over the counter and they were less than £2.50 each.

Assuming its a known make chassis, a search on ebay for wheelbolts for the vehicle may well turn up trumps.
I had no trouble buying a whole bag of decent wheelbolts for a Merc some years ago.
