Thoughts on this 2018 GT3
Discussion
Sold my Cayman Gt4 last month and can't decide what to get, however saw this through a friend and does look incredible in GT silver. Thought from the more knowledgeable on spec....

Personally, I wouldn't consider a GT3 without buckets.https://awwemporium.co.uk/cars/2018-porsche-911-99...

Average spec car (IMO) in manual, with Front Axle Lift, Bose and Automatic Climate Control....https://awwemporium.co.uk/cars/2018-porsche-911-99...
Thanks

Obviously thing is that it has sport seats... so key question is... what to you want the car for? Now of course the car will work on road and track as is no issues.. but then it depends of you want a more focussed experience in one way or the other.
What spec was your GT4? do you want something similar or different.
That's top money for an average spec non clubsport model. Few things I noticed :
No ceramics
Poverty spec Plastic dash - could be wrong but can't see any stitching despite advert stating black leather with contrast stitching THROUGHOUT
Only 4mm left on tyres. OPC' s replace at 3mm.
Nothing in the advert about clear over rev check ??

Gt4 was pretty much fully loaded, CCB's the lot, however same 18way adaptable seats, apart from that every option was ticked, the spec is a little less on the GT3, I can live without the CCB's but yes have been mulling over do I want full Buckets or not, 6 owners also, while I appreciate that with these cars it will be higher than average, others have lessObviously thing is that it has sport seats... so key question is... what to you want the car for? Silver has caught my eye, also noticed this for a Few K more, including the clubsport spec and full buckets

I agree with the comments made so far but there’s one thing that really stands out....6 previous owners (in other words a 7 owner car) and it’s only 4 years old - I’m sorry that would put me off alone as it’ll be a resale nightmare and many Porsche specialists wouldn’t resell a car like that unless it was very competitively priced! On the basis of the number of owners stated, I wouldn’t buy it.

See Chris Harris advice re brakes on his collecting cars youtube after 50,000 miles in one of these beasts. You'll want the ceramics after watching
Feel is very subjective, and there are plenty of pad options out there to change it to your tastes with iron brakes. For improved fade resistance, a change of fluid and also braided lines does the trick. All for waaaaay less than the price of PCCBs when new or the premium for them on a used car. You have to be happy not running OEM parts of course

As Chris says in the video, they're still going strong on his car so they can't be that bad

Pretty sure KW HLS can be retro fitted to standard GT dampers though!

All the cars were supplied with red harnesses until about Jan 2018 when they changed to black. I ordered some black one’s for mine…but my car then came with black. So I have a black set sat on the shelf. https://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/14884506-dohc-...
