2010 Ranger rover sport 3.0
Discussion
Recently purchased a E93 335i thinking i would enjoy it for the summer, however 7 months in and I'm not enjoying it and now want to change.
Having a budget of around 12k looking around and not really finding anything that appeals
Audi S4 and bit meh
Focus ST, would be wanting an RS plus the torque steer would probably drive me mad
Astra GTC VXR, doesn't really do much for me
Came across the 3.0 diesel range rover sport which got me thinking maybe I'll try the range rover thing, as it appear people who have them rave about them.
I know the internet is full of horror stories with any car especially range rover, however a quick google doesnt bring much up on the 2010 RRS apart from air suspension.
Can anyone talk me into or out of looking at getting one of these.

You're veering well away from fun cars and in to something quite wafty, I love a good RR for munching miles and arriving in comfort but I'd never call one fun - Unless you had the budget for the SVR and the associated bills, even then I've never driven one to see if they're actually fun or just obnoxious.
You've got a relatively modest budget, which could get some good fun cars quite comfortably. Personally I'd stay away from cars where I could easily spend 30-50% of the the purchase price on fixing issues that aren't all that uncommon on that particular model. But maybe I'm just too risk averse.

Yep agreed with you, partly why i've never really looked at them. You've got a relatively modest budget, which could get some good fun cars quite comfortably. Any cars your would suggest, as I'm running out of car to look at?

Google a bit more...https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic44897.html
I'm not saying every single V6 diesel RRS is destined to end up with a two-piece crank; but it's as well to be aware that it's a possibility.

At that pricepoint I'd probably be looking here - I think their looks have aged really well, they're meant to be cracking good fun and I have a bit of a soft spot for them. If It wasn't for looking to go for something a little more powerful at the moment I'd be looking at these a little closer.Any cars your would suggest, as I'm running out of car to look at?
