Hi, I'm a newbie here so please be gentle!

Im looking at 'upgrading' my 2013 Diesel 2.2i-DTEC SR Auto CRV. Sticking with diesel....I'm looking at a 2016
Honda 1.6 I-dtec 160 EX (also auto)....

But I'm becoming vexed about whether I should try and get the 2.2 model instead??? It needs to be 4WD...reading conflicting info about whether I can even get the 1.6 in 4WD. I'm really pleased with the performance of my current CRV, but want to update her before she starts to go downhill! Just a bit concerned at the potential loss in power? Please dont bamboozle me with too much 'techy' info (I'm blonde after all!)....Just looking for an experience/opinions of anyone who might have made the switch??

Thanks in advance for your advice/opinions

Apologies if this is too late, my has dad a 2016 1.6 DTEC Auto that I've driven quite a bit and it's a great car. The 2.2 is less powerful, worse on fuel and heavier than the 1.6 (EX and SR trims) so there's no real upsides to it in a post 2015 CR-V.

Doesn't the 1.6 diesel also get the improved 9 speed auto? I would go with the 1.6 over the aging 2.2.
