Change lease car before delivery ?

Hi , so I’ve placed an order for a new car via hippo leasing and it’s coming within 16 weeks from the factory .. but im ever so slightly changing my mind and wanting a different car but threw the same broker has anybody had any similar experiences and would it be a massive issue ? I’ve signed documents for my finance etc and been accepted and paid my admin fee ,

What did they say when you called them?

I did this with my lease Company (leasecar.uk). Thought I would lose the admin fee but they just transferred it to my new vehicle.

OP. Why not ask Hippo instead of millions of randoms on the internet?

Thanks mate , I’ve not signed any papers with the manufacture yet so I’m hoping I can just opt in to another car hopefully ,

Because there shut on the weekend I just wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience as this is a public forum and I got a reply so … lol in that case what’s the point in asking anything on here to randomers ? Isn’t that what forums are for

You won’t sign or see any manufacturers documents, your contract is with the lease company.

I'm sure Hippo will be delighted to order you a different car

I'm also sure Hippo will be less than delighted to refund you the admin fee you've paid

So if you can stomach losing the £2/3/400 you've already paid, then order something else

Just tell them you want to / need to change the car. No point I no driving around in a car you didn’t really want. Life’s too short.
