Had my Tuscan re-gassed recently and it took 12kg of R134a.

I've just checked the Sagaris Bible - aircon refrigerant volume is 725cc with 60cc of Pagid PAG46 lube.

I was going to respond but as couldn't remember how much we put in I held off, the system was empty as it was a new install, the oil volume quoted above sounds familiar as I looked up before the big day, but I was advised it needed 120cc. The guy who filled it was pretty clued up, he had experience in bespoke installs in limos/customs. Anyway12KG of re-fridge seems loads, 1.2kg sounds nearer but 725cc sounds too small, this is I think about 850g. Not much help I know but it its hard to get wrong me thinks as the pressure as its filled is all important. The oil is calculated by volume/design of the system and pretty sure we put in..... 120-140cc

I'm not ACU expert, was just quoting what is written on the invoice, 'R134a 12kg refrigerant', quantity 5. With Google as my friend looks like the 12kg refers to the weight of the cylinder the refrigerant comes in, not the amount used, apologies for any confusion caused getmecoat

Just had mine tested and re-gassed by AC Automotive, Gloucester, who filled it with 650g refrigerant. Now have cold air once again. Quick question, should both radiator fans be working with the air con on (or at least the near side one)? I only have one fan on, so if I should have 2 (or the near side one at least) then I've got some fault finding to do - any ideas?

I would expect both fans to be working, but there are people on the furums that know better than me. Thanks
