Skoda Superb estate, could even get one with 4x4 to cover that angle also.

Handsome bus to look at is an added bonus.

Pretty do-it-all imho.

Facing the same dilemma, I bought a V6 supercharged F Pace

Would have had a 540i touring if prices were anywhere near sensible though

An F10 M5 offers an awful lot of value for money.

I had a similar dilemma last year.

2016 Audi S6 Avant resolved it for me - ticks all the boxes, assisted further by a remap of the lovely 4.0 twin turbo V8 to give a very healthy and useable 563hp and 746Nm.

I have to say as a do it all tool at this price point the Mercedes E400d is just superb & for me is the pick, they're hard to find in estate form:

Or the BiTDI A6:

can't see any less than 36k. Maybe a 340i estate?

It may help to elaborate on your version of “Do it all”

If it was me I would go for an M2 / M4

Get me to and from the office
Pick up the shopping
Fit a few people in it
Fit luggage in for weekends away
Capable of early morning fast drives
Capable of track days

Does it all!
