Spotted: Avro Lancaster
Discussion
Probably flying over its spiritual birthplace at Woodford, near Stockport, even though PA474 was built in Hawarden rather than by Avro themselves. There's almost nothing left of the old Avro / BAe factory at Woodford now, although the Avro heritage museum is small but worth a look if you're passing.

Is there a way of seeing it’s flight path before it takes off? It’s supposed to be going over Worcestershire in a couple of weeks I think.
They used to stick out a facebook post with the forthcoming weekend schedule but for whatever reason have stopped doing so this year. And as we found out yesterday, they may also turn up early without warning any local fete announcers so it's a good idea to keep track of something like ADSB exchange to monitor the flightpath in real time
