I don’t condone it but I’m not surprised considering his behaviour and attitude towards Hamilton last season including at Silverstone complaining because Lewis was celebrating a victory after he sustained a 51g impact (of his own making).
Max has been driving impeccably this season but fans have long memories.

What can you expect, F1 seems to have attracted a new kind of fan. There was a brawl last night in the funfair area for crying out loud.
I don't like Max or Lewis but i would never boo them, they have more talent in one little finger than i do full stop.
I doubt they could shave a dolphin as good as youI don't like Max or Lewis but i would never boo them, they have more talent in one little finger than i do full stop.

However this time it’s highly likely more due to the Piquet racism which Max held an interesting response.
I thought Max was in a difficult position and handled the situation well. Back to the booing, the drivers play up to the crowd so I'm more of the opinion of you dance with the devil-you can't go crowd surfing or swapping the position boards around for cheers and not expect the opposite to come from opposing fans.
By some margin, people post some abhorrent stuff on this site but we're supposed to think booing is the behaviour of Neanderthals.
It routinely reads like simple snobbery from most to me.
Of course they like to look down on people who like football and yes there's some awful things chanted (some insanely funny stuff as well) but as uncouth as some on here think it is, the support for Ronaldo following his partners miscarriage shows their true colours.
I didn't appreciate the booing either, it's not a good look. It might be because of AD last year (not Max's fault), but it could be also because of Piquet (nothing to do with Max) or it could also be fall out from last year (which was just racing).
Either way, the water is too muddy, the booing harms the reputation of the Silverstone crowd imo.

Worse than fans invading the track while the race was still running back in '92?Either way, the water is too muddy, the booing harms the reputation of the Silverstone crowd imo.
